Shuttles of Light II
A Space for Gathering and Sharing Life
This project is a detached house designed to encourage shared living spaces for the family. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all created for communal use. The spacious living room also serves as a home theater, while the window-side dining area accommodates up to eight people. The kitchen island dramatically changes the typical traffic flow by swapping the locations of the living room and kitchen. This arrangement significantly enhances both the independence and interconnectivity of each area. The guest room is divided by a single partition wall, with the living and sleeping area at the front and the changing area at the back. This layout brings natural light into the reading and living areas, achieving a sense of openness and freedom with expansive visual effects.
