TreAsia Lab

A Multi-Faceted Dialogue Between the Space, Plants, and People
Located in the Pier 2 art center, the space design concept is a practice of idealism and design. It has no limitations and can serve as a space for exhibitions, lectures, retail, presentations, or a place to spark imagination. It is also a hub for the exchange of creative ideas and a stage for brand development. Here, the philosophy is clear – design without limitations. In the high-ceiling warehouse, the space is divided into different functional areas. The first floor serves as the brand exhibition area, while the second floor functions as a creative work exchange space. Additionally, plants are incorporated as natural lighting fixtures. A special fern, the sword fern (without spores), was discovered in the lab by chance. It grows in response to the interplay of space, light, shadow, and air. Experimentally, the space, plants, and people engage in a dialogue, fostering mutual inspiration and creativity.
